Mission accomplished! (Not really.) Truth be told, the first couple tracks on this disc are absolutely brutal—they are painful to listen to. You see, during several of these sets our man bombed (mostly on purpose) and bummed the crowd out a great deal, resulting in his black ass being banned from a venue, heckled by a club owner and threatened with physical violence by another comic on the bill. Hey, man, it’s, like, performance art or whatever. Cough. In closing, The Very Special World of Joseph Larkin is a full 79 minutes and 50 seconds of seemingly nonstop hilarity! Limited to 500 copies.
